Bobby Brown: Statement on Bobbi Kristina's Condition

As Bobbi Kristina Brown - the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and her ex-husband Bobby Brown - lies in a medically induced coma in a US hospital (Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta), her father Bobby is by her side. He released a statement to Us Weekly about his daughter on Sunday, February 1. 
"Privacy is requested in this matter," he said. "Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."


Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious by her husband Nick Gordon at home in the bathtub on Saturday, January 31, and was rushed to the hospital. According to TMZ, she has been placed in a medically induced coma and her situation is being described as "significantly diminished."

Bobby Brown is "inconsolable" as efforts continue to keep daughter Bobbi Kristina alive, PEOPLE (the sister publication of Australia's WHO magazine) has learned exclusively. The family source said the only child of Brown and Houston has not regained consciousness since she was found in her bathtub.

The 21 year old remains on a respirator, with very little brain activity, the source told PEOPLE. It's believed she was without oxygen for an undetermined amount of time.
